I have an old Accord that just wasn't blowing the cold air anymore. I was about to take it in for the $100 AC check (and that doesn't include the freon) when I saw this product. Very easy to use, took 5 minutes and for the last 2 weeks I'm amazed how cold the AC is now. If everything works fine but just low on freon then this is for you. If you do have a leak this product will at least let you know with the easy to see uv dye.

Used in 1st car that was blowing warm air, installed one small can plus 1/2 large can.Now car blows cold air,but guage never went above 35 PSI(90 degree outside temp,so pressure should have been 50-55 PSI).Used in 2nd car that was blowing cold air, just wanted to top off system.Guage never went above 35 PSI(again 90 degrees out,did both cars at the same time and at that outside temp the pressure should have been 50-55 PSI.).Used 1 small can and 1/2 of large can.Since pressure never went above 35 PSI in either car,I was beginning to have doubts about the guage.Checked the 2nd car the day after with the guage from another company and it went off the scale!!!It pegged out well over 120 PSI!!!I didn't run the A/C after installing the product because I didn't want to damage anything.Glad I didn't!!!The stuff in the can seems to be OK,but the guage is garbage!!!!

My work car had been "out of service", sitting in the driveway for a few months. When I got it fixed I had one problem, no ac! Bought this little gem & 10mins later I had colder air than when it was working. It's been a couple weeks now since I used it & it's still freezing us out of the car!!!

I prepped everything and read all the instructions. I attached it to my car and put the nozzle on. I pulled the trigger and green stuff started to spray everywhere from under the trigger. I think it would've worked had the trigger not been broken because my engine bay was bright green from it spraying all over.

Apparently the "leak sealer" doesn't work on the TRIGGER ITSELF, which leaked(!). After no change with the first can, the use of the entire second can (or at least what hadn't leaked from both of them during "charging") very briefly got BARELY COOL air, but strangely only on the econ setting-- max a/c setting was effectively heat. Never was able to get up to over 35psi at appx 75F. Useless.

Worked great and easy to use. Has kept the A/C ice cold since we charged it a couple weeks ago and is colder than the A/C in our new car. In hindsight I probably would have purchased the A/C Pro with the bigger bottle, longer hose, and cheaper price but thought we might have a leak and wanted the dye and pen light. The gauge seemed to work fine and UV pen light, although chintzy, worked well with a pair of shooting glasses with yellow lenses. I recommend watching the video on the Mfg website; very simple after seeing how it's done.

The abitily to recharge a system with this product is very easy however I believe the gauge does not indicate the pressure accurately. I charged my system at 85 degrees F and the gauge never reached the bottom line after one and one half cans of refrigerant. It blows cold so I left well enough alone.

Comments about Interdynamics Arctic Freeze Ultra Synthetic R-134a Recharge Kit with UV Dye and Oil:

I own a 2001 Ford Windstar and it was blowing warm air with the AC setting on. I figured I would buy this (two cans, not one) since I believed I was pretty low on the refrigerant. I was pretty amazed as to how simple this all was, I just had to screw on the nozzle part and make sure it was on right. After finding the low port side connector (google this!), it's basically just plug it in and check the pressure.

The first time I did this the pressure kept fluctuating, and I added in probably half the can. After driving for a week and seeing the air was still pretty warm, I connected it again and saw the pressure stabilized. I added in more refrigerant based on the temperature outside, and the car is blowing very very cold air.

Very simple and easy. Make sure you do not wear anything you want to ruin because a little refrigerant hit my clothes as I disconnected it from the port. Def wear glasses/gloves seeing some flecks hit my shorts.

Used the guage to charge the system - everything was going well, but all of a sudden the gauge spiked to the red section and now the system is overcharged - how do I correct this? everyone is right - don't trust the gauge!

The proper way to correct an overcharge is to recover the entire charge, evacuate the system, recharge the correct amount and check for leaks. However, It is advised that a Section 609 of EPA Standards mechanic be the only one to perform anything with that type of system [r12] as well as r134a due to its effects on the environment. I would suggest taking your vehicle to a certified A/C mechanic for a proper diagnosis.

Your 1991 Chevy Bllazer may be with a R-12 ac system. If it has been retro-fitted to R-134a then this Interdynamics Arctic Freeze Ultra Synthetic R-134a Recharge Kit with UV Dye and Oil(part number AFK-11CS) should work fine.
