  • Q:

Will this work on my 1994 Lincoln Continental Executive? Also, does it have a chart for interpreting codes? How would you compare its functionality with part #CP9015, which calls itself a "code scanner"?

    • CUSTOMER CARE

      A:

Happy to answer your question Miamatt! This Equus reader will definitely work for your car. It does not include a trouble code chart; you would need to refer to the repair manual Part No 26500 http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/p/chilton-chilton-manual-26500/10721336- . The Equus reader will read code and display it on its LCD display; it also has memory, and has capability to do all of Ford self tests. The Actron scanner does not have a display, you would still need to read the code based of flashes or sound indicators, it also can access fords self test system.
