Just drill 4 holes in the OEM assembly rotate your universal fan inside the oem assembly. How put the holes to be located either to the left and right instead of top and down. If you have the kia rio cut the oem cable that goes to the fan and reconec them butttttttt switch the colors of the cables when conecting. Blue goes with black and black with blue that about it. You gos youself a better radiatos fan.

I just bought this for a 1996 Jeep Cherokee with a 4.0l. Despite what this website says, it does not fit and no amount of fabrication will get it to fit (I now have an unreturnable part due to a few failed attempts).

What you see is NOT what you get. The hardware for mounting this fan is NOT in the box. I ended up removing the motor and fan and installing them in the old fan frame. Also had to change out the plug because that didn't match either. Other than costing me an extra hour of my time the motor and fan work great in the old housing.

I can't comment on the performance because I won't be installing it. The online store said this was an exact fit for my 2003 VW Jetta. I don't know who wrote the description because obviously they never tried to install it in a VW. There is no way to mount this fan to the existing mounting location behind the radiator. I don't see how it could be installed in any vehicle. It didn't come with any of the installation hardware shown in the photo, and it doesn't appear to have any standard mounting locations. Also it is a single speed fan, when the VW fan is a 2-speed with a three plug connector. I am not happy. This will be going back to the store tomorrow!

Installed on 96 mustang. My daily driver. Less Noiser then the one before.

Go to the store, they have more products to serach against. This is a universal fit (notice the zip ties and no connector, just wires). They found as exact fit in store after a little work.

The Motor Home I have uses twin 12" fans on the cooling pack in front of the radiator. The motor and blade appear to be exact duplicates for the existing fans. However the mounting cage and hardware were not easy to retro fit, so I simply used the fan blade and motor to replace a worn out fan.
