This is the best magnetic tool, I finally got one. It sure does hold the spark plugs in place when you are removing the old ones from your vehicle, the results speak for themselves, I put my trust in this tool. I sure needed it for my 97 Ford F-150 4.6 Liter engine for the farther back 2 plugs on cylinders 4 & 8 cause it can be difficult at time, it out beats a standard 5/8 wrench diameter, cause they will let the plugs stay in when you go to try and pull it out. I would buy this again and again. I recommend it to anyone. And when you go to put a new plug in the magnetic, it strongly holds it in place as you begin to put it in the cylinder hear and tighter it up, just remember to not strip the thread when tightening the plugs. Go for one, you won't regret it after all. It does it's job as it says it should do.

I bought this tool specifically for the #3 spark plug in a 2001 Blazer. It doesn't fit. It may work well for the other troublesome plugs, like the #4 plug on the same vehicle, but not the tough one, even with the rubber steering column "collar" pulled out of the way.

    Must-have for spark plug changes

Comments about Gear Wrench 5/8" x 6" Magnetic Swivel Spark Plug Socket:

This is a must-have for spark plug changes. The head on this tool swivels slightly to allow it to easily maneuver into the spark plug cavity, even in tight confines. The socket is magnetic also, which allows you to use it one-handed if necessary without worrying about dropping the plug. I used this on a 2006 Honda Odyssey and it was perfect.

What a perfect tool for what I got it for which is was changing the spark plugs. It's magnetized, was the perfect size for me. squivels right in the middle which made the job so much easier and better around the tight areas. I absolutely loved it I would recommend this if your doing your own spark plugs specially if you doing it on a Dodge Charger or challenger it's the correct size and perfect! Don't pay the dealership to do it for you you can do it ur self for under 90$ and that's for sixteen spark plugs and this tool!

replaced spark plugs of may audi A4 2000 1.t engine. Long enough to reach the plugs. I used about 2-2.5 inches long standard extension along with this. Very easy to remove spark pulgs and put them back. It grabs the spark plug very well.

Comments about Gear Wrench 5/8" x 6" Magnetic Swivel Spark Plug Socket:

I purchased this upon realizing that I did not have the correct size socket for my 1995 Honda Accord V6. I elected to buy this one largely due to the price alone. That decision was definitely influenced by the reviews. I would be lying, however, if I claimed that I actually expected the product to be as good as the reviews would seem to indicate.

I was wrong. Very, very wrong. This was the perfect tool for the job, and while I was not initially happy with the moving joint, I found that this feature was insanely helpful. I likely would not have been able to get the back three plugs without the flexibility provided.

I would recommend this over more costly products in a heartbeat due to its quality and functionality. It truly exceeds expectations.

Great tool to have on hand. There is always a friend or family member in need of a spark plug socket and I have used it myself tons of times. The magnetic part is nice for plugs that are deep in some engine blocks and the swivel proves very useful in tight situations.
