Comments about Gear Wrench 3/8" Drive Torx® Bit Socket T-55:

The bit seems to be well made, stood up to a lot torque needed to break free some rusted bolts, no slippage from the bit. I'd trust it for heavy duty jobs, good tool for the price.

I bought this Torx socket for brake work on a Chevy Avalanche and it seems to be durable and had a nice tight fit in the torx bolt. I own a few other Gearwrench brand sockets and have been pleased with the quality.

I'm happy to help, John! A pair of pliers may be used to pull the plastic out of the socket. A twisting motion may also allow you to break the socket loose.

I'm showing that it should take a T-55 to remove the bolts.

You will need a 3/8 allen wrench. It is available in your local Advance Auto Parts store.
