Correct fit but wrong gasket for 81 GS750E

Pros

  • Cheap And Fits Perfectly
  • Easy To Use

Cons

  • Wrong Gasket For 81 Gs750

Best Uses

Comments about Fram Motorcycle Oil Filter:

Available and better price than OEM but the included gasket does not fit my 81 GS750E even though the web site said direct fit. It does fit and works fine. Most people re-use the gasket or source one from Suzuki dealer. Not a major problem as the filter fits perfectly and works like OEM.

Comments about Fram Motorcycle Oil Filter:

The filter is good quality, was really happy to see that. However, these gaskets are horrible. They almost seem to be to big. I was very nervous when installing, thinking there was a 50% chance it was going to leak when I turned the bike on. Not very confidence inspiring for pherhaps a new rider trying to learn to do some work to their bike. This is coming from a perfesonal auto tech, who knows how to wrench a bike too.

After looking at 4 different bike shops and NO ONE having it, I went on a ling and checked Advanced. Not only did they have it but it was cheaper than the shops who were gonna have to order it!

Comments about Fram Motorcycle Oil Filter:

My Ninja needed an oil change so I bought this filter since it was the best deal and it looked identical to the one i had (which I think was an OEM Kawasaki filter). Definitely recommend it, also wanted to comment that it came with both O-Rings required for proper replacement (some brands may only come with the one or none)

you really should have a cross reference for motorcycle to filter like you do with cars . you would get allot more people to buy from you instead of looking all the info up on fram site

Yes but be sure this is the exact application, my friend had a 1985 Kawasaki Vulcan 700 that took this filter with a different O ring set so the part number was slightly different, either that or you will have to re-use the current O rings or seals.
