      A:

Hi Baknky, As far as I know, the 2004 F250 doesn't actually come with a cabin air filter. However, this part is an exact fit for your 2004 Ford F-250 Super Duty Pickup and it can only be installed if Ford kit number F65Z-18D477AA has been installed in your vehicle.

      A:

In a 2001 Ford F-150, under the passenger side dash about where your feet would be, you will see a "door like" cutout in the bottom of the heater box. It is about a foot long and about an inch and a half wide with a little "runner" around the sides. All you need to do is take either a razor knife or a pocket screw driver (careful when you use it) and run it around the edge of that "door" that is attached to the heater box. When you run it around there, it will cut out and remove the "door" from the heater box. Take the cabin filter with the tab down and stuff it in the hole.
