Hi GoldAcura, good question! You would require 1 cabin air filter for your 2002 Acura TL.

how long should change cabin air filter?

With reference to this Fram Fresh Breeze Cabin Air Filter - part# CF8603A, the cabin air filter is an important part of your vehicle that requires regular maintenance. It filters the air that you breathe inside the car. If the interior of your car starts to smell musty then there is a good chance it could be a cabin air filter in need of a change. A dirty filter will look dark grey and beat up. Recommendations on when to change a cabin air filter vary greatly from every 10,000 km to every 40,000 km or every year or two. Often, the owner's manual will have information on when to change the filter. That said, if you drive often in very dusty or polluted areas, you should consider changing the filter more often than the recommended interval. For any further assistance, please visit your nearest Advance Auto store or call us directly at 1-877-ADVANCE (238-2623) and one of our representatives there would be more than happy to assist you.
