Comments about Flowtech Raptor; Turbo Performance Muffler:

took off my stock muffler and tail pipe of my 2002 Gmc sierra 1500 5.3L and put on this muffler, I then put a 45 degree pipe right at the outlet of the muffler and another 45 degree pipe at the end of that 45 and then put a 4 inch tip at the end of that pipe. The exhaust comes out right before the passenger side tire and is completely legal and makes your truck sound nice and loud outside yet it still gives you some sound inside the cab. I Recomend this.

Dodge Dakota 4.7 single exhaust, but you'd never know it listening to it.
Installed in under five minutes with dump pipe, and sounds great!

For the price, if it falls apart in a year, I'd get another - then another, ....

Comments about Flowtech Raptor; Turbo Performance Muffler:

The previous owner removed the cat convertor and welded a pipe in there nicely and the oem muffler was rusting out. So i bought this turbo raptor muffter and cut the old muffler out. Using the stock pipe and tail pipe and it fit and worked great. Now with out the cat convertor and with this better muffler it sounds awesome for a 4 banger honestly. And the off the line performance as well as passing power were wayyy bettet. Im gettin around 2-3 mpg diff. I can pull my boat easier. The only thing i did was put a chrome resonator tip on the tail pipe so it wasnt raspy. I have a k&n drop in filter and always use mobile one synthetic oil with lucas oil stabizer and k&n oil filter. And the truck runs great. Its a 1996 Ford Ranger Splash single cab with 2.3L 4cyl motor and 5-speed transmission and has over 200k miles and still runs like new.

I put a set of these mufflers on my 1983 Monte Carlo. They sound great, and are much quieter than the open headers that I was running. The install was great. The muffler slid right onto my collector adaptor with a little help from a hammer.

Very simple to install on my 98 Dodge Ram 1500 4wd. Very easy, jumped under truck, cut off original muffler, clean up the pipe and installed the muffler. All within 1 hour. I was a bit surprised how loud this is, I knew it was going to be a bit noisier but it's more than I really wanted. I will live with it for the price!
