Comments about Flowmaster Inc. 40 Series Muffler 409S - 2.25 Offset In / 2.25 Offset Out - Aggressive Sound:

First off, it sounds great on my 07 v6 Mustang. It gives it the rumble I wanted but the GT was a little out of my price range.

Problem with this is after less than 6 months on the car the STAINLESS STEEL is already showing surface rust...rediculous. So now what are my options? Yeah maybe they gave me the wrong model, it could be the aluminized version (i didnt check, just gave the box to the auto shop) and maaaaybe advance will replace it. But I guarantee they will not reimburse for the cost of installation of the second muffler...so now I get to try and play some offense. Hopefully I can sand out the surface rust and seal it up with some high temp paint and get it to last a fuzz longer...
