This product fit the bill for the right price. No need for expensive pans. It capacity is 7 quarts which is fine for most jobs (oil/ transmission fluid change). Most vehicles take 4-5Q. It has measurement lines on the inside every quart. It would have been nice to have liters also. I scratched in 3 lines for 4.5, 4.6, 4.7 liters (measured using the FloTool Measu-Funnel) with a small screwdriver. Easy enough to scratch the lines in. It has a spout for pouring. Though it would have been nice if the spout was more defined. Overall, it worked as expected, is lightweight since it's plastic, and is wide enough to capture the fluid flow no matter where it decides to go.

You'll keep the oil off the ground until you have to poor it into a container. It is not pour friendly and will casue a mess. After changing the 7 qts* of oil in my vehicle, I proceeded to dump a quart on the ground while transferring it from this pan to a containter.

*Positive note: Supposedly it's a 7 quart pan but 7 quarts of oil left plenty of space in the pan.

Comments about FloTool 7 Quart Round Drain Pan:

Doing some work on the wife's car. Had been sitting in storage for a while meaning outside under a tree. Needed multiple parts as I went along. Best of all was a to look them up order them pay for them while looking over the car. I probably made about 4 different purchases over three days every one of them was ready right and waiting for me. Good work guys.

Comments about FloTool 7 Quart Round Drain Pan:

The drain pan is what I wanted. I have the bigger drain pans with spout and lid but they tend to be a little high to get under the vehicles. I wanted to try this because it seems to be a little shorter in height. Also will be useful for other auto fluid draining

The opening design is bad. You have to use a funnel to empty the container to a jug.

Comments about FloTool 7 Quart Round Drain Pan:

As I said, it isn't rocket science to have the drain cap fit correctly, I looked at the half dozen in stock and picked the one with the best fit, that wasn't so great either. All were cocked, or would not thread on.
