Does this gasket require any dressing? How much torque is correct?

Hi Tennessee, techy question! You will need some carburetor cleaner on a towel to clean up the mating surfaces around each port. You want the new gaskets to have a clean matching surface when you install the plenum back on. Set the new large gasket into the lower half of the plenum. If the gasket is excess in length after setting most of the gasket in, take some out and put some back in, but sort of "pack it" so that you are reducing the excess length with each re-insertion. Just go along doing this until it all sits inside. Double check that the gasket is sitting in firmly all the way around. Set the "8' shaped port gaskets into the bottom of the plenum. These actually do follow the shapes, so match the shape to the gasket and set each one in and carefully set the bottom half of the plenum onto the intake manifold. You'll feel it when the ports match up with the gaskets. Jiggle the plenum slightly to make sure it fits in. Firmly press down so that you don't have any gaps. Drop the isolator bolts into the isolator bolt holes. Screw each one in carefully (do not cross-thread any!) and snug them in (less than 20 in-lb of torque). For help with your project, I recommend purchasing a Haynes or Chilton repair manual specifically for your vehicle. This should be able to assist you further into detail on how to repair or replace specific parts.
