      No, this Felpro Automatic Transaxle Gasket with part#  TOS 18716 does not include the filter.

      it sounds like you have a manual transmission there is not dipstick for them.. look at your manual and it will tell you where you can add.. there is a place on the side of transmission is where you can check it is comes out when you open it you should have enough...

      Some GM automatic transaxles lack a dipstick. The pan must be removed to verify fluid level.

      On this automatic transmission there is an 11MM bolt on the passenger side of the vehicle in front of and slightly above the axle. If you have a lift or access to a pit like some quick lubes have (ie Jiffy Lube) with the car running in park remove that bolt. If a small stream of fluid flows out the level is good.

      If not shut the car off use a fluid pump with a small fitting that will fit into the hole and had a little fluid. At this point repalce the bolt, start that car in park again and pull the bolt, repeat as neccessary until a small amount of fluid trickles out from the bolt hole. Make sure when you reinstall the bolt that you do NOT tighten until it is flush with the transmission case, it only needs to be snugged.

      Be sure that you have a way to SAFELY get under the car and do this with it running in park and with the emergency brake on, and the car must be level.
