Comments about Factory Air New Ford FS10 Clutch Assembly w/ Coil:

1 yr warranty not worth much when AC Clutch failed in my Party Bus after 1 yr 4 mos. Used it about 10-15 times (bus sits a lot) in that time span, and it failed in our warm November. replacing it again. Would recommend because it's cheap, not sure about durability yet, maybe a fluke, maybe not.

Comments about Factory Air New Ford FS10 Clutch Assembly w/ Coil:

This Clutch has a much stronger spring anchor assembly which I believe will last longer than the Origanal.

Is the retaining nut a left or right hand thread????

      • CUSTOMER CARE

        A:

While installing the Factory Air Air Conditioning Clutch(Part No. 47878) the assembly nut has to be rotated clockwise. For removal of this part you would be needing a Ford fan clutch removal tool.

    • Q:

IS this an Easy thing to replace or should I leave this up to a professional to do? If I but the Clutch should I also buy a Bearing?

      Thank you!

      • CUSTOMER CARE

        A:

Well this all depends on the skill level of whoever is removing or replacing the part. Some may have a harder time than others who have experience. It would have to include the bearing. The bearing is pressed into the pulley itself.

No it does not include the bearing.

      • A:

It would have to include the bearing. The bearing is pressed into the pulley itself. I only wish they provided this kit without the coil. The coils rarely fail but the bearings failure rate is much higher.
