Q:hi my van is rattleing real bad. my brother-in-law says it is this part. does that sound right? part# 9.8107G for my 3002 KIA sedona
A:Happy to help you Bill! This part is a universal part and not an exact fit. It is possible the rattle could be worn shock bushings in the rear. They come together with a shock Part No 10272273- http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/p/monroe-oespectrum-light-truck-shock-absorber-37272/10272273- . What you can do is jounce the front or the rear of the car to get a better idea of where the noise is coming from. Once you do that you can get underneath and see what you need. Or you could have a certified mechanic diagnose your vehicle to give you a better idea of what’s going.
Q:How do you fit them into the shock eye, do you cut them in half or what?
A:greese them up and they should push right in
Q:how many sets do i need? looking to firm up my 20004 chevy silverado 1500 with 5.3 liter and four wheel drive. back and front needed?
