Comments about Edelbrock Performer Olds 350; Intake Manifold:

Great street manifold, strong torque, can be driven daily if needed, looks cool when the hood is raised. Glad there are aftermarket suppliers heeding our call. Need to know what your doing upon install time. Use recommended gaskets and double check fit with feeler gauges to ensure proper fir/no vacuum or coolant leaks beforehand. Shouldn't be any issues unless engine machine work has been done prior, yet always worth checking first. Who doesn't want a cool aluminum intake on their classic street car?!!!

Comments about Edelbrock Performer Olds 350; Intake Manifold:

Great price, but it was a catch all type of product. I had to purchase many and I mean many fittings and plugs to fill holes that were for later year cars.
The manifold is not a good fit on a 1970 Olds rocket 350. I could not use the gaskets that came with the manifold because they were to high, and I had to use a great deal of silicone instead.
Besides the above stuff, it is a good value and I'm sure I will be very happy with the manifold.

  • Q:

I have a 1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass with a 350 Rocker with no EGR. Do you either have the model 2711 Edelbrock Performer intake that does not have EGR or do you have a work around to eliminate EGR on the model 3711?

      A:

I'm not showing any online that I can find but you may be able to locate one through one of our stores. If that is unsuccessful, you can always just seal off the EGR port with a metal plate cut to fit and using some RTV or silicone. Note: In some states, blocking off the EGR makes the car illegal.
