I needed to touch up the dash, and car seats. This stuff works amazingly well and sprays on easily no sputters, no mess. The color matched perfectly.

Comments about Duplicolor Vinyl and Fabric Coating, Flat Black, 11 oz. Aerosol:

This product is in use in my guitar and amplifier restoration shop -every day! To restore scuffed and discolored black vinyl material, Duplicolor Vinyl & Fabric spray cannot be beat. Use at least two thin coats and you will get nice even coverage. Take your time and don't try to cover everything with just one heavy coat, or your paintjob will get splotchy! Besides the ultra-fast drying time, I also love the superior adhesion quality: Masking the area to be sprayed is essential, because cleaning up overspray is sometimes simply impossible. I have accidentally sprayed over all 49 keys of an electronic keyboard and spent two hours polishing the black paint off the white plastic keys. Besides spraying musical instruments and amplifier cabinets, I was also successful in repairing the black plastic panels on my daughter's Honda Element: lightly sanded the scratches first, masked the black plastic panels and a few light coats later, these panels looked like new. I love this stuff and the people at my Advance store are probably wondering why I by a couple of cans every two weeks...

Comments about Duplicolor Vinyl and Fabric Coating, Flat Black, 11 oz. Aerosol:

One of my detailing customers had accidentally tracked bleach onto her black BMW floor mats that resulted in some awful-looking white patches. Not wanting to spend $100 at the dealer for a replacement pair (they were only two years old and in great shape), she asked me if there was anything I could do. I decided to give Duplicolor Vinyl and Fabric coating a shot. I've used Duplicolor products over the years, and have always been happy with the results.

However, I wasn't sure how the carpeted mats would respond. I dusted on a few light coats, and was impressed that the bleach stains were completely covered. I let the mat dry in the sun for a few hours, then brushed and vacuumed the surface to eliminate any overspray. Hopefully the durability will be there, but I only used 20% of the can to spray the mat, so I can always recoat.

Great product to keep vehicle looking good. Excellent product to repair sun fade when original fabric is not available or can't be matched. Product is excellent for blending in different shades due to time and sun fade.

Comments about Duplicolor Vinyl and Fabric Coating, Flat Black, 11 oz. Aerosol:

I used this to change up the interior on a subaru obs. It turned out alsome. It seems to hold up better on plastic than vht dye. Its durable, but be careful on fabric. It gives fabric a rough texture, which can be expected when painting seats and carpet.

Comments about Duplicolor Vinyl and Fabric Coating, Flat Black, 11 oz. Aerosol:

I used this paint for the interior refurbishment of my 1971 Corvette Stingray. The color and sheen matched the original nearly perfectly. Goes on easily and evenly. Only negative is that the paint is very temperature sensitive and will dry with splotches and streaks if the surface, paint or ambient temperature is not between 70 and 90 degrees.
