I'm a retired carpet and upholstery cleaning technician, you can take a single edged razor blade and gently shave some carpet fibers from an inconspicuous area like under a seat, place a drop of clear glue into the burn hole and then softly press the carpet fibers into the hole and let it dry. The finished repair will not even be noticeable and holds up well, hope this helps.

This really won't fix a hole. There really isn't anything that can fix a hole properly.
