Comments about Duplicolor LT Drift Sand Mica:

Spaying hint. Dont start on top of material as too many metal flakes wil accumulate and change the color from light/or actual look to a darket color. Metalic is tricky as the flackes need to lay in the direction of original. Good for touch up but did not gloss like Original. I got a can of bumper clear coat spray can wich gave it the color deepth of the original. Sudgest, prime with original primer color, sand w/scotch bright, give it a light/but even pass to match light/dark/ness of color and spray with clear. The single spray is too dull, adding additional paint to gloss it up darkens the color.
Vent area well, pretty strong thinners.

          • Q:

Would you use this product on a 2"-3" area of the bumper? or would you need to do the entire bumper in this instance? Got a large scuff from someone in a parking lot and want to try to fix it myself. Almost anything will look better than it does now, but want to try to do it right.

              A:

Hi Brandon! I am glad to assist you! You should be able to do only the affected part unless the paint is faded. However your best bet is to paint the whole bumper for a perfect finish.
