I've gone through 13 cans of this stuff and I really like it. It doesn't smell as strong as other sprays, It applies pretty easy. If you can do well with rattle can paint then you can use this stuff. It is very messy though so make sure you tape off and cover everything you don't want covered in your area. If you don't follow the directions and try to do heavy coats you will get runs just like paint and it is a pain to clean up if you do so. If you do get small runs I recommend you blot it gently with a crumbled rag to pick up excess and give texture. I used this to coat 5 rims on my Jeep and it has held up great to road chemicals and such. It doesn't fade in the sun so I also used it to cover my fender flares, bumpers and side steps. It has held up great for over a year on my Jeep.
TIPS: It doesn't seem to cover as much as what the can says, but it's close. Wipe the nozzle with a rag THEN clear the nozzle. Shake very thoroughly at start and throughout use. Wear gloves, it's hard to clean off. Alcohol works good to clean it off paint and glass. Let it set up for a day before re-assembly if you are painting parts. Let it dry for a couple of hours then take tape off using a razor to get a clean tape line.

Comments about Duplicolor Bed Armor, DIY Truck Bed Liner, Black, 16.5 oz. Aerosol:

Proper preparation is the key to this product. Scuff up and then clean what you are spraying, it will work great. Used it for a quick and easy repair on a spray in bed liner, matches perfectly. Have used it on bumpers and bars before, I actually prefer the cheaper version for that application, but as a bed liner or heavy duty undercoating this is the stuff.

Comments about Duplicolor Bed Armor, DIY Truck Bed Liner, Black, 16.5 oz. Aerosol:

This products is very good. To replace the top inserts on my 2008 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer, they were $180.00 each. This single can made them look brand new again. I first cleaned them with road and water. Masked off the lower section of the boards with auto tape, and used a piece of cardboard to prevent overspray from getting on the paint. This product exceeded my expectations. It worked perfectly. They are now attractive and look factory original.

Sprays on on if you keep a rag handy to wipe off nozzle every could of passes. It looks on when sprayed but dry's very soft. After 4 days in about 70 to 75 degree sun you can peel it off with your finger nail. Used 180 grit sand paper then a cleaner to promote adhesion it still does not seem like it would hold up on a truck bed if you use shovels or haul heavy stuff in the bed. Will not buy again

Flows out smooth, which is sort of the opposite of the desired effect when applying what is supposed to be a textured bed liner. It seems the trick is to apply several extremely light dust coats, which would be fine except that it takes an eternity to dry. I attempted to use this on my van's spare tire carrier and after waiting approx. 30 minutes for the first coat to tack up (it didn't) I ended up wiping it all off with a paper towel. Switched to another brand, no more problems.

No, Alex! This Duplicolor Bed Armor - Part No. BAA2010 is not compatible for fender flares. You'll need the Dupli-Color Trim & Bumper Paint -Part No. TB100 for your application. But, we do not offer them online. However, I'd recommend checking with your local store for availability.
