Comments about Driveworks Wheel Hub Assembly:

I installed this hub/bearing on 1999 Lumina The part failed in less than a week.I had no issues with the staff at advance auto, they promptly replaced it with a new one, crossing fingers on how this replacement will hold up. I will update this comment if the hub doesnt last the warranty period specified

I put this on my 2001 Lumina and the bearing failed in about a mile. I took it back and bought a MOOG, couldn't be happier. Do yourself a favor and bypass this hub.

Comments about Driveworks Wheel Hub Assembly:

Replaced both of my front bearings with these. They lasted ~26K miles (~20 months on the car). Not worth it!! These are made in China, poor quality parts. The bearings that were on the vehicle were the original GM bearings. I replaced them not because they were showing signs of failing, but for preventive maintenanc (they had 200K miles on them).

Spend the extra money on quality parts, and, if you can get it for a good price, GM parts. It's a hassle to replace these (~1.5hrs plus for one side).

For the best help with your “Do it yourself” project, I recommend visiting your local Advance Auto Parts store and picking up the Haynes repair manual for your vehicle. These manuals you give step by step instructions on numerous services for the specific vehicle and the tools needed. While in the store, feel free to speak with a Advance Auto Parts representative there in the store for helpful hints and information as well.
