Comments about Driveworks Wheel Hub Assembly:

Only thing I found wrong was the connector for ABS wire was wrong type but with a little modification used original connector and worked fine. Make sure hub is centered in mount or it will throw a trouble code and abs light will come on once in awhile. I used a board across the hub and used a rubber mallet to seat it squarely in. Take your time and do not rush and you will be fine

Installed this bearing hub on a 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix front left side,as a replacement for a less expensive hub I just recently installed. The bearing was still fuctional but the speed censer on the hub was irratic causing abs and trac problems. It has been about a month since this hub has been installed and so far I have had no problems.Seems to be well made!Make sure you find out the proper torque spec for your car to thighten. If you have a GM auto give some thougt before buying the cheep bearing.

No instructions with it. Would of taken less time if I knew I had to take parking brake off to remove bearing from backing plate. That was the only problem.

                  A:

I'm happy to help, Bill! The RPO (regular production order) codes for a 2000 Buick Regal GS with the supercharged 3.8L V6 are:
                  FE1--Suspension System Soft Ride
                  or
                  FE3--Suspension System Sport
These are normally found in the trunk on the spare tire cover or on the trunk lid.

                  A:

Jack the rear of the car up and go to each tire. Move each tire side to side and back and forth from the top and bottom of tire. If there is excessive play, that is most likely the bad bearing. To get the best answer, we highly recommend taking your vehicle to a reputable shop to have them take a look at it to determine the cause.

I think so, on are 2004 Chevy Impala the sensor on the rear wheel bearing was bad. that caused the light for the abs & trac off to come off and on till it went. Then the lights stayed on an your abs & trac control will not work so you must change the bearing & sensor as its a one piece unit. Also parking brake must come off to remove bearing from backing plate.
