              A:

Hi Customer, glad to help you! Normally, a worn wheel bearing cause a grinding noise when the vehicle is in motion. Typically, this means there is mechanical damage in a wheel-end system. Related to a bearing, it means a loss of integrity such as roller or raceway damage. The noise is normally heard when turning or when there is a shift in load. However, I would suggest that you take your vehicle and get it thoroughly checked by a certified mechanic before buying any parts that may/may not solve the problem.

this bearing does not press on the axle shaft, it is carfully driven into the axle housing.
