Comments about Driveworks Water Pump - Domestic Reman:

I purchased a water pump for my truck online. By purchasing online I received a discount of 15%. We decided to go pick up the water pump that night after we ordered it so I could start work on the repair first thing the next morning. As we were leaving our driveway we received a phone call from the store telling us they would have our part waiting for us.We Drove 30 minutes to pick it up, when we got to the store took us all of 5 minutes in store. The store personal were very friendly and helpful. We came home an it took 3 days to put the thing on.it should have been a 3 hour job. finally got it done and it works fine.

About Me Mechanic

Comments about Driveworks Water Pump - Domestic Reman:

The original pump made it past 200K. The Bronco has 120K on it since (total of 320+K) and has had 3 pump replacements since the replacement of the original. All bought with LLW. Although I could get another for free, I don't feel like replacing the pump again in another 2-3 years. I'll be buying one from a different source, made by a different company this time. The pump is priced well, and I recommend it only if you plan on getting rid of the vehicle.

Comments about Driveworks Water Pump - Domestic Reman:

The price was right but I put this on in July 2012 and now the seal/bearing has failed. I knew it wasn't a lifetime unit but we only drove the Bronco about 5000 miles in the last year and now water is pouring out again.

      Does this product rotate counter-clockwise?

      • A:

thats a good question it should since it has a serpintine belt the water pump the way they have to run the belt. it always loops back around the water pump witch in turn makes the pump rotate backwards thus making it reverse rotation. i had this problem with a mustang gt that is a reverse rotation pump but they say the timing cover will acccept either. so i bought a new timing cover form a f 150 1994 instead of a mustang cover they want more for the mustang cover than the truck one i also out a f 150 pump on it to. i dont seem to be having problems with that setup i dont know why they say that wont fit a mustang when if you modify it right it will work the are both 302's just ones a high output the other one is not.

Always use High Temp RTV sealant, on both sides, unless the directions say not to.
