Comments about Driveworks V-Ribbed Belt:

Exact Fit, Change every 2 years to avoid possible belt breakage. Always keep the old belt in the trunk just incase a premature break of the new belt. so far that has not happened.

      Comments about Driveworks V-Ribbed Belt:

The website listed several belts as exact fit for my vehicle. However, they ranged in length from 94" to 97". The first 2 were too small, the last one was just right.

        Comments about Driveworks V-Ribbed Belt:

This was also part of my waterpump installation. When I seen my waterpump had a small leak I decided that this was the time to change at home before it blew out completely on the road and cost of towing would be added to project. Looking under hood I seen this belt was one thing that needed to be removed before I got to waterpump. If this truck had a sticker on belt direction it had long came off,so I made a crude diagram of which way the belt went around pulleys. After examining belt it had some surface cracks and needed to be replaced. Did need help in measuring around belt to get the right one online. Also kept old belt behind seat for a spare if I needed it in a bind. Installation was a breeze.

This is the wrong belt for my truck.
So if you have an F150 older than 1995, with a manual transmission and A/C, this won't work and will probably mess up your belt tensioner.

For help with your project, I recommend purchasing a Haynes repair manual specifically for your vehicle. This should be able to assist you further into detail on how to repair or replace specific parts.

I would try replacing the belt and this is the belt that is a direct replacement.

It is possible the bearing going from the pulley to the clutch could need replacing. Sometimes it is better to replace the clutch and pulley together as a unit.
