    Comments about Driveworks V-Ribbed Belt:

I got this belt for my 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse. The Eclipse doesn't have a tensioner, so my mechanic had to tighten it by hand. It was replaced on a Friday. Not even a week later, the following Tuesday, it broke while I was driving (luckily, AFTER I got to work & was getting ready to park). Since my mechanic had to tighten it by hand, I'm sure there's a chance he tightened it too much, but it's hard for me to accept that 100%, because he's a competent and experienced mechanic. I will never buy this belt again (or any other product by this manufacturer). I bought a different brand of belt from a different auto parts store & it's still in one piece. Spend the extra money a get a G***s belt.

use a 42-43" version of this belt. Just did on 97 stratus with 2.0 to by-pass A/C

        • A:

The 420K6/6PK1065 for a 97 Dodge Stratus with the 2.0 bypasses the A/C ... just did it. 44 was too long. 42 is actually tight to get on, maybe tad longer, but I wasn't messing any longer with... rolled it over the alternator wheel.
