Comments about Driveworks V-Ribbed Belt:

This is a good aftermarket replacement for the factory supplied belt. Sure, it's not quite as great as the OEM belt, but it's also not nearly as expensive, either. It's a serpentine belt, other than fit and durability, what else do you need? The OEM doesn't work any different than this, so why waste the extra money? It's not a performance part, so what's the point?

          A:

To install the serpentine belt, you must remove the pulley from the tensioner assembly bracket. To remove and replace either the serpentine belt or the tensioner pulley, you must keep the belt tensioner compressed; to do this, you will need a tool(Two 1/4" bolts secured by nuts in a piece of angle-iron about 5 1/2" long by 1" wide. The bolt hole spacing is nominally 4 1/2") to hold the parts in place. The tool is absolutely necessary, as the tensioner will separate and be ruined if you try to remove the tensioner pulley nut without having the tool in place.

We don't have one listed online for an A/C delete for your vehicle but if you go into one of our stores and speak with an employee there, they may be able to find one for you in the catalog.

For help with your project, I recommend getting a repair manual specifically for your vehicle. It should be able to help you with detailed instructions on how to do many things.

        • A:

when you take the belt off you should keep it in roughly the same shape and place it on the ground so when you put the new belt on you can reference the old belt by looking at it on the ground
