            Comments about Driveworks Universal Joint:

U-joint did not fit my 1998 Ford F150 Rear drive shaft with extended cab and 4x4. I'm not sure if I ordered it by accident or not. Advance Auto site said exact fit for my vehicle. After returning these I went with Moog, though they were more expensive they fit my truck.

              HELLO,

I HAVE A 2003 CROWN VIC POLICE INTERCEPTOR. IS THE DW-354 THE CORRECT PART?

              • CUSTOMER CARE

                A:

I'm glad to assist, Mad Milty! There are multiple universal joints available for your 2003 Ford Crown Victoria 4.6L V8. With your vehicle information entered into the website there will be vehicle specific details under the Product Application(s) heading under the Description tab. From what I see the material of driveshaft, bearing size, the lock types and whether or not the part is greasable are the differences from part to part. There are no specifications for the Police Interceptor model.

To see if you have a steel or aluminum driveshaft, you can put a magnet on it. If the magnet does not stick, then the driveshaft is probably aluminum. Greasable parts allow you to maintain them, non-greasable will not require maintenance, but may need replacement sooner since you are unable to maintain/grease the part.
