Comments about Driveworks Tapered Cone/Cup Wheel Bearing Set:

I put these bearing on my 2000 Chevy S-10 2.2L flex fuel pickup truck and I couldn't be happier. I replaced the inner and outer bearings and races and now my truck isn't loud driving at 40 MPH. I haven't replaced a wheel bearing before but I watched a YouTube video from A-1 auto on how to do it and it made my life easier. Glad I saved some money and learned how to do it myself.

Comments about Driveworks Tapered Cone/Cup Wheel Bearing Set:

Was replacing the abs sensors and the backing plate when i removed the bearings (OEM) the race was made of plastic and chipped up, so i replaced the inner and outer bearings while replacing the sensors. my truck is very quiet, did not realize how loud the front bearings were getting over time. bearings are very smooth and quiet.

Are there any other seals or parts required when replacing inner and outer wheel bearings?

          • CUSTOMER CARE

            A:

Changing the front wheel bearings requires inner and outer bearings and an oil seal that goes on the inside of the wheel. The bearing races may be difficult to replace. The outer races of these bearing have to be pressed into the hub.
