This part is very well made, when it comes you can tell the difference just by the weight the original factory ones are a joke also these come with grease fittings so you can service them in the future. The complaints that I read said that they had problems with the nuts coming off and not being able to find ones the same tread mine were the same as the factory ones that I was replacing so I used the nuts off of the old ones as backing nuts just in case . Some people were saying that this would happen when the part was out of warenty so if your lucky like I was and catch this before you replace then it could save you a lot of headaches down the road.

I bought 2 of these on 1/31/2013 and now it's June 13 and they're shot! At first i thought my front struts went bad or tie rods, but then i grabbed the link and on the bottom, MAJOR SLACK!
Will try to replace under warranty, but no, i do not recommend these to anyone.

Comments about Driveworks Suspension Sway Bar Link Kit:

This is a great improvement over the stock piece on the car. This new one was made of heavier steel and came with grease fittings. It should last longer than the last replacement I put on the car..

Comments about Driveworks Suspension Sway Bar Link Kit:

i searched all the auto parts websites for a end link that didn't have zerk fittings. i've got grease guns but really are you ever going to re-lube a sway bar end link - i haven't gotten under a car and "greased" things since my last jeep - i'm an adult - who has that kind of time. well i got the parts and low and behold.... grease fittings. i threw them in and greased them but a major competitor has greasable end links for 5 dollars less a piece. on the positive side - they work great and the old focus sounds better on my city's terrible streets.

Comments about Driveworks Suspension Sway Bar Link Kit:

If you are hearing alot of clunk, rattle, popping and not being able to tell where it is coming from on the front of a ford focus this link is more than likely your issue. The factory ones are nothing like these. They are more durable and come with grease fittings, which will need to install. They are like a tie rod, the ball wears out, even if it's a little will resonate through the sway bar sounding like your car is an old clunker.

Comments about Driveworks Suspension Sway Bar Link Kit:

I work @ AAP in pageland sc..just wanted to let u know that for half the price..u get the same quality part in the lower cost brand and they are serviceable with zerks ( grease fittings) the older parts had no fittings so we're non-greasable thanks for the updated parts...seems that the end links on the focus tend to wear quickly..factory parts...these are made of steel not aluminum..very solid end links

      Replaced within 10k miles

      By

Comments about Driveworks Suspension Sway Bar Link Kit:

I bought these on a little over 2 years ago for my ford focus. I drive 9 miles to work round trip, so I barley put any miles on these and they are shot. I can hear them clunking already.

They were easy to install, so if you want the cheap option and don't plan on keeping the car pick these. If you want something that last longer I would buy a better brand.

Less than a year and both struts are broken. I'm not going back for the warranty. I will purchase better quality parts that will last longer.
