The only hard part of the job was removal of the old part. There was no place to gain any leverage on the OEM. This part will be a snap to remove should I need to since there is a nice large 18mm knuckle to grab onto while i crank it off.

Hi Larry, I'm glad to assist you. Without seeing a schematic for your vehicle, I would not be able to say for sure. But, generally, It is fitted to go between the sway bar and the control arm.

Are these referred to as end links?

            A:

I'm happy to help, John! The sway bar link is referred to as the stabilizer bar link and could possibly also be called an end link. If your sway bar link has failed you'll notice increased body roll when taking corners. The other parts in your suspension that could be called end links are tie rod ends. Worn tie rod ends will be noticed in steering. Generally there is more play in the wheel and you'll hear a lot of squeaking when turning. Normally you won't need any extra components when replacing the links. The bushings are part of the kit. You will need some hand tools and it may be helpful to have a repair manual for your vehicle. The part number for the repair manual for 1998-2004 Chrysler and Dodge LH cars is Part No. 25026.
