Comments about Driveworks Suspension Control Arm and Ball Joint Assembly:

Ease of installation, just jack the car up, remove the tire then the three bolts, remove the control, then the reverse, and make sure the torque for the bolts is correct...

Comments about Driveworks Suspension Control Arm and Ball Joint Assembly:

This product is easy enough to change. Biggest pain is you must torque it with weight on the control arm. I usually use a jack under the control arm. Not ideal as unless one disconnects the sway bar. Not really a dorman product since, it says Scan Tech on the control arm. In volvo circles they do not have a good reputation.
My Volvo OEM control arm lasted at least twice as long as this one. However, Volvo OEM does not have a lifetime warranty. My previous Dorman control arm lasted about 1 year or 15-20K miles. I live on a gravel road that gets maintenace about once a year so they take a beating.
