Comments about Driveworks Suspension Control Arm and Ball Joint Assembly:

After the new balljoint as threads stripped out and trying to replace with another and was the wrong size. Should have just kept my OEM arms and freshened them up

Comments about Driveworks Suspension Control Arm and Ball Joint Assembly:

This is going on my daily driver, so it won't be under any severe conditions, but i assume the warranty will come in handy at some point. I know it will not last as long as the OEM part did.

As soon as i took it out of the box, i realized i was going to be in for some trouble. The bolts and nuts that hold the bushing to the arm were both stripped out. Luckily the bolts and nuts on the OEM parts were salvageable. How no one noticed this while assembling is beyond me.

The design of this is pretty shoddy from an install point of view. Since it has a bushing, it requires clocking it at ride height. With the oem arms, there is enough room to get it in place and tighten it with wrenches with all the suspension in place. With these arms, you cannot tighten the bolts on the car, as there is lip around the edge of the control arms so there is no access for a wrench. So i had to tighten it off the car and hope i got it right. 5 tries later it still isn't perfect, but i pretty much gave up at that point. I suppose i could have ground the lip off, but that would void warranty, and i am unsure of the structural ridigity if i did so.

Probably will just buy oem ones next time. I would even get used oem before i buy this again.
