Comments about Driveworks Suspension Ball Joint:

I replaced the lower ball joint on my truck last year. I took it in for inspection, and the inspector said it was no good. Turns out, the part didn't have a warranty, and I needed a new one in a day or less, no time for shipping. I decided I would take a chance on this LBJ from Advance as they had it in stock. I compared the two and the new one looked much superior. First of all, it had a grease fitting, the old one did not. Although the grease boot on my old one had not ripped, the grease boot on the new one was much better secured with 2 braces

Two issues: the 4 bolts that secure the ball joint to the lower control arm are much too long. Also, the nuts that mate to the 4 bolts have 3 little nubs that make it very hard to slide the proper socket over them.

Comments about Driveworks Suspension Ball Joint:

Non-fully threaded bolts are too long. Supply your own washers to get them to tighten up.
Even so, great value for old truck
