Comments about Driveworks Suspension Ball Joint:

Please note that in order for you to use this part, the control arm MUST be an aftermarket specified for this. This WOULD NOT fit on my 1999 Ford Ranger XLT 2WD w/ Coil springs. After research I found that in order for you to use this part, the control arm from the factory will not accept it. The control arm from the factory is one piece and balljoint is unremovable. Returned part and used replacement control arm with balljoint already installed. Price difference was paying $40 more, so I was a bit disappointed. Might as well pay $40 extra, how many times do these need to be replaced? Not worth the trouble, buy the whole arm.

Comments about Driveworks Suspension Ball Joint:

It would be helpful; if I came into the store with the upper control arm and Advance offered a service for removing the upper ball joint and pressing the new one into place.
