Comments about Driveworks Suspension Ball Joint:

After reading the reviews I was very hesitant. Being a first time installer I was pleased. My OEM Ball joint broke (literally) while my daughter was driving the vehicle. I am now replacing all the OEM suspension parts with parts that "DO HAVE Grease Zerks".

Comments about Driveworks Suspension Ball Joint:

I bought this from my store for a 2000 Ford Crown Vic Police Interceptor. While trying to install it, I noticed the boot ring on bottom is same diameter as base, making it impossible to press it in without damaging ring and boot. Also, since boot had come off during attempted install, I inspected inside. Not good. There is barely any grease inside. I see why other reviews state if you install this ball joint, you WILL be doing this job again very soon!
My suggestion is to avoid purchasing this part

Make sure the ball joint is aligned properly. It has a tendency to want to go in at a slight angle.

Comments about Driveworks Suspension Ball Joint:

Bought this product a couple of times. Both broke. One did not have any grease in it. And there is no zirt fitting to grease them. Came from factory this way in my opinion. On the other hand Advance did give me a Moog at cost. I do a lot of business with them. I suggest they find a better alternative in cost and product. Sorry Advance you failed on this one...

Comments about Driveworks Suspension Ball Joint:

I bought a set of these two years ago, and after roughly 15-20k miles the first one broke(literally) leaving me with a tow bill and having to replace a tire and rim, not to mention my time to replace it as well. Two months later, the opposite side broke(literally) leaving me on the the side of the road in the middle of "No Where" Do Not Depend on these cheap knock offs to repair your cars/trucks. The worst part of my experience was the lack of assistance from Advance Auto Parts.
