Comments about Driveworks Suspension Ball Joint:

Part fit great. No trouble pressing it in with the press I rented from Advance. I installed this on a 02 Ford Excursion and to my delight the grease zerk clears the u joint so you do not need to install and remove the zerk every time you lube it. Some of the more expensive ball joints will not clear the u joint

Comments about Driveworks Suspension Ball Joint:

This ball joint was TIGHT pressing it into the knuckle. I'm not sure if its the fault of the knuckle or the ball joint being slightly large. Driving it in with a c clamp or similar tool was out of the question it was so tight so I had a machine shop do it. Besides that it seems like a good part for the price. My truck is a 93 F-150 4x4 5.0 where the ball joints are pressed into the steering knuckle. Overall it seems like a good price for what you get.

I see the description of this ball joint saying its for a 4 wheel drive? But its telling me it fits my truck which is a 96 Ford f 150 4.9 liter 2 wheel rear wheel drive. So i am wondering if this description is right bc if it is i will be returning two of the ball joints.

Which ball joint is better? The drive works standard duty or the heavy duty design? I see that the standard duty ones are slightly more money..
