Comments about Driveworks Suspension Ball Joint:

Ball joint seems to be pretty good, only have about 100 miles on passenger side one, drivers side was done today. Passenger side came with black bolts and black nuts, these worked great ! Drivers side came gold bolts and silver nuts with blue nylon insert...these were absolute garbage! I wouldn't throw them at a bird ! They completely stripped out all 4 bolts while only snugging with a 2ft 1/2" drive ratchet! Had to use vice grips and air gun to get them back off. Advance auto took back ball joint and hardware as defective and gave me another one with the BLACK hardware. Used air gun on these to tighten them and they were perfect ! In a nutshell..yes I'd buy again but I'd make sure I got the BLACK hardware.

Comments about Driveworks Suspension Ball Joint:

About two years ago I used these on my Dakota and now one needs to be replaced. Since one is still tight, I'm hoping the one that needs replacing was defective. Replacing ball joints the first time is a bit of work but this time it will take more time to jack up and support my truck than replace this ball joint.

For the good price it's worth the effort. My truck is 14 years old and is hardly used so I hope this will last it's life.

One good thing is it has a grease fitting!

First Your factory part is rivoted on so u will have to spend some TIME grinding the haeds off. then drill the old studs out all most all the way. then using a punch hamer it the rest of the way out.
