No Problems At All

Comments about Driveworks Suspension Ball Joint:

Excellent, inexpensive replacement for high mileage vehicle. (Tip of the day) Put the part in the freezer prior to install, it will help the metal contract and will make installation easier. Also take advantage of the loaner Master Ball Joint Installation tool. I would say to get the larger kit of the two they have available. I did this upper ball joint in just under an hour by myself...

Comments about Driveworks Suspension Ball Joint:

I see all of these negative comments on how these are too "big" and don't fit. These ball joints are the same as the OEM ball joint, and you have to use a press to get them out and to press the new ones in.

Since the rubber boot/sleeve has to be put on after the ball joint is pressed in, don't forget to grease them after installing. This might be why some of the reviews for either this one or the lower ball joint say they failed. MAKE SURE YOU GREASE THEM WITH A GREASE GUN.

I understand that most like myself, buy these parts and do the work to save money. Although, based on most of these reviews blaming the parts for issues they're having is normally because of the "mechanic" having no clue how to do the job.

Comments about Driveworks Suspension Ball Joint:

I cannot believe I wasted an hour trying to line this over sized ball joint up, Only to check the reviews and find other people having the same problem, I normally shop at advance but this ball joint is way out of spec and will not fit no matter what. I suggest buying the Moog or going to a different part store , I chose different parts store this time.

Comments about Driveworks Suspension Ball Joint:

Purchased with other parts for same vehicle. Looked ok but when trying to install, the fit was not good. Even though the fit needs to be tight there was no way this would start into hole even with several different methods of installation.
Checked both old and new ball joints OD with micrometer, replacement part was QUITE abit larger.
Part was returned with NO hassle, Purchased another brand part- New part went in as it should.

Comments about Driveworks Suspension Ball Joint:

The grease fitting. 90 degree elbow style, that this comes with leaves no room for the tip of the grease gun to be used. I had to purchase a grease fitting that was not angled so I could grease the ball joint.

                  A:

Hi Frankie, great question! I researched and found that this suspension ball joint is for front upper and is sold individually. You would need two for your vehicle which is meant as 2 required in the description.
