This is the lowest quality product I have EVER come across. The bolts & nuts stripped during installation. 17 mm nut size is not accurate since the wrench won't fit the nut. 18 mm wrench is too big and a sloppy fit at best. One had the grease ooze out the top seam of the joint. The other seemed OK.I have installed 2 of these upper ball joints on my Blazer. However, I do not hold much faith that they will last very long at all. They were put in because the truck HAD to get back on the road. My advise, DO NOT waste your money on these joints or your time installing them. They are JUNK ! ! !

Boot doesn't fit properly

Comments about Driveworks Suspension Ball Joint:

Everything else seems OK but the boot doesn't fit snuggly at all around the joint. I bought one of these before from here and it had a different boot design with a metal ring that was fine. It has now been cheapened.

Comments about Driveworks Suspension Ball Joint:

so i bought this product in june of 2014. i bought 2 of the upper and two of the lowers. i had only a little bit of money and need 2600 to repair 1997 blazer is my quote for the garage. so i started buying the parts i need these looked good so i bought them. i put them on and they really my the front end tight when before it was so loose. now about 6 months late i notice my front end was getting loose again and it started pulling. when i grease them when i put them on it didnt take that well and grease was coming out of the top and bottom. i would grease every oil change and i did two oil change at the time and went to get it inspected and it fail due to have a bad upper ball joint.

The bolts and screws supplied are very low grade and the threads rip off when installing. Ball joints last 1 year and where shot. I am a daily driver. Buy Moog!

Comments about Driveworks Suspension Ball Joint:

I installed this driveworks ball joint on my 1997 Chevy Blazer. It lined up properly and got the job done but, the grease boots where not constructed well and did not make a good seal to the ball joint. This caused all the grease to come out of the top sides of the boot when filling them with a grease gun. I was going to return them and get the Moog brand but, didn't feel like taking it all back apart again. You get what you pay for I guess. Also the screws and nuts they supply are made from cheap materials and the threads round off if you're not careful when tighten them up. I had to use some of the screws from the old ball joints because a few stripped before I even could torque them to specification. I will never buy this product again.

Yes, the needed hardware is included. Sadly, it is a low grade product. After 1 month on the road, it needs replacement ALREADY.
