Good ball joint, not top of the line like Moog but still comes with a lifetime warranty. Had no issues with the nut stripping or with the grease fitting.

Comments about Driveworks Suspension Ball Joint:

I drive a full-time 4WD Jeep Grand Cherokee. This product was installed in mid-July, it is now mid-December and this product already needs to be replaced! For a product to need replacing that soon is absolutely ridiculous if you ask me. If you drive a 4WD on a regular basis and do a lot of driving, this product is NOT going to hold up. Yes, it was easy to install. And yes, it did solve the issue...at first. However, I noticed the same issue soon after replacing the original bad part. In this case, buying cheaper wasn't the best option. I will definitely be buying the next step up this time!

REMOVAL ON 200K MILE 96 JEEP CHEROKEE WAS DIFFICULT EVEN WITH PRESS, BOTH SIDES WERE VERY RUSTY. INSTALL WAS EASY ON ONE SIDE DIFFICULT ON OTHER. MY ONLY COMPLAINT WOULD BE THAT SINCE THERE IS NO ROOM FOR A GREASE FITTING, A PLUG WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE, NOT EXACTLY SOMETHING I NORMALLY HAVE IN MY TOOLBOX. FABRICATING A PLUG WAS EASY, IT WAS JUST INCONVENIENT. REPLACED UPPER AND LOWER JOINTS,STEERING NOW FEELS GREAT. THE PRODUCT WAS A GREAT BUY AND I FEEL THE QUALITY OF THE PRODUCT WAS EXCELLENT.

i rated this product at 5 stars because you are not going to get a better ball joint for that price i done a lot of research and you just can not beat the price. you can find them cheaper but by the time you pay for the shipping you are paying more for them and plus what other store is going to get you the parts you need the parts you need the same day and there is no shipping cost. but the delivery part of the deal is it only makes deliveries to businesses i think but not for sure you would check with your local advance

It fits and looks like the stock unit.
Pressed in ok but noticed some distortion in
upper cap around grease fitting after installed.
Took grease and seems ok but expected a
bit more strength from a ball joint.
Time will tell - so far ok.

Comments about Driveworks Suspension Ball Joint:

These parts are junk. DO NOT FIT A STANDARD (NOT HOPPED UP) MANUFACTURED VEHICLE. WHAT'S WORSE, THE MECHANIC OPENED THE BOX AND THE PART HAD BEEN BEAT TO HE** AND HAD GREASE ALL OVER IT. MORE TIME WASTED...AND GAS TO RETURN. EMPLOYEES NEED TO CHECK BOXES THAT HAVE BEEN RETURNED BEFORE SELLING THEM. ALSO....if the "shoe don't fit" DO NOT CARRY THE PRODUCT.

The ball joints are the pivot between the wheels and the suspension of an automobile. Ball joints play a critical role in the safe operation of an automobile's steering and suspension. There is no diference between the ball joint and the suspension ball joint. It is the same product. In order to locate the exact ball joint for your Dodge Ram, please provide your vehicle year, sub model and engine specification.
