Comments about Driveworks Steering Tie Rod End:

This ITRE was easier to work with than the OEM version. The reason why is that the OEM has no flat on it at all so this means you have to use a pipe wrench in order to remove it. This replacement part has very nice flats that work perfectly with a borrowed ITRE tool from Advance Auto.

The worst part about this job was removing the old ITRE, after that is out the rest of the job is simple.

I did this job less than 2 weeks ago so I can not say anything on the quality of this part, but I expect it to be comparable to the OEM.

Comments about Driveworks Steering Tie Rod End:

I ordered these products online based on availability and cost. I traveled an additional hour to get the parts so I could fix my car that day. I was called and told not all parts were available but would be by noon that day. I agreed to this and came to get the parts after noon. I compared the parts t the ones I removed to ensure a match. What I found is the parts I purchased did not match each other. 2 different shaft diameter and thread counts for the same part number. The store made it right by providing a part by a different manufacturer. Good service. Bad business. It all worked out but I was delayed because parts were not available at the store even though the online store said they were.
