    Need to know how to get the old one off first, this item seems to screw on,the one on my 82 ford thunderd chicken looks as it might be pinned on not sure,thats why i'm asking ?

      A:

      Hi John! That's a darn good question. Remove the old pin using a spray lubricant to ease, which hold the tie rod ends to the steering column. This is a new design inner tie rod, it does not have rivets or coiled pins to retain them. The previous production tie rods with rivets or coil pins must use prior torque specification.
