Comments about Driveworks Steering Tie Rod End:

This part fits just as it should, but there is an issue with the nut. The nut height is almost an 1/8" too high. You cannot insert the cotter pin through the hole in the studded end. I guess the hole could be in the wrong place, but comparing the height of the nut to the original equipment there is a definite difference. I ended up filing the bottom of the nut down until the cotter pin could be driven through without too much deformation. I think the cotter pin could be slightly smaller also which may have let it be inserted without filing the nut.

SO I READ THE REVIEWS ON THIS PRODUCT AND WONDER IF THIS PROBLEM WAS FIXED? IT SAYS THE GROOVE IN THE CASTLE NUT ISN'T FILED DOWN FAR ENOUGH. I WANT TO ORDER ONE BUT DON'T WANT TO FILE THE NUT DOWN.
