Put in a pair of these outers and a pair of Driveworks inners. Within 13 months and 10k miles, one of the inners failed (sloppy, knocking) and one of the outers failed (cracked boot, grease washed out).

Sure, there's a lifetime warranty on these, but it cost me another several hours on my back in the garage, another couple hours at the alignment shop, and another $79 for another alignment.

The replacement (the new one) just feels like junk - feels like they put some gravel in the socket before the slammed the ball into it. Nothing like the smooth-as-glass feel I got when using some Moog inners on my other car.

Save yourself time and aggravation and stay away from this brand. It's a house brand. So far, I'm 0 for 2. Never again.

I posted a review about a week ago and it has yet to appear. The sites said 2 or 3 days. Hmmmm... it was a negative review. so I wonder if it got "lost"...

The castle nut seems a bit lightweight compared to what I replaced. Time will tell if it is worth it. Good price and easy to use.

Good Fix for worn tie rod that caused major toe issues. Not Moog quality but good for the price

Comments about Driveworks Steering Tie Rod End:

Product was easy to install but the hardware that comes with it is inconsistant. One had a jamnut and one didn't. One had a 90* grease fitting and the other had a straight one. Both were the same part but didn't come with the same hardware.
