Comments about Driveworks Steering Tie Rod End:

I bought complete Driveworks front end for my truck upper and lower control arms tie rods and sleeves, control arms don`t fit very good clearence too tight, tie rods 1 of 3 I bought had bad threads right out of the package.tie rod sleeves I bought 2, 1 had bad threads returned it second one had bad threads and still had metal from threading inside returned it upgraded to moog which I normally use but tried to save a few bucks as I don`t plan on keeping truck much longer. Also the driveworks nuts for tierods are half as thick as original nuts and moog nuts kinda makes me question the safety of the driveworks nuts.Bottom line you get what you pay for, driveworks are greaseable should hold up for normal driving, but would recomend upgrade to moog if you use truck for work or drive alot of miles.

Slotted nut/cotter pin not quite right

Comments about Driveworks Steering Tie Rod End:

Castellated/slotted nut was not 'wide' enough. After the tie-rod was installed to the steering knuckle, nut was tightened/torqued and cotter pin inserted, there was a gap between the nut and cotter pin - the nut was not wide enough; the cotter pin didn't engage with any of the slots in the nut. Had to use the nut from the old tie rod.

      Otherwise, the part worked.
