Cons

  • Install Can Be Difficult

Comments about Driveworks Steering Idler Arm bracket:

Installing this bracket can be difficult due to not being able to start the mounting bolts with your hands. A socket & long extension must be used to guide the bolt thru the frame to the inner frame hole and thru the bracket mounting holes. Patience is a must. If you accidently touch the bolt, socket, or extension on the side of the frame while guiding it thru, the bolt may fall out of the socket and land in the inner part of the frame. It is difficult to retrieve the bolt but not impossible. A fexible magnetic tool is very handy when this happens.

The part fit. I'll get another 150k miles out of the truck with problem-free steering. Came with a hose and fittings for remote mounting a grease fitting. Sweet!
