Good product for the price. No issues with install other than no over pressure switch included with the unit. Had to use the old one which worked fine.

        A:

Hi Floyddy, glad to assist you! This Driveworks Remanufactured Compressor with Clutch (Part No. DW57967) comes with a minimal amount of oil required for shipping purpose. Please drain any oil shipped in compressor used for lubrication during shipping, and add the proper amount of PAG oil. Oil must be added through the fill bolt of the compressor, when applicable. After everything has been installed, use your hand or a spanner wrench to rotate the clutch 10 to 15 times before you turn the system on. This will clear the system of lubricants.

    • Q:

Which of the three seals and two metal inserts are applicable for the '93 Regal 3.8 installation?

        A:

I'm happy to help, Bcrest1! The proper o-ring and gasket kit for your 1993 Buick Regal 3.8L V6 is Factory Air Part No. 26729. The seals an inserts that are provided in the kit may not be used in all applications. I suggest purchasing a repair manual (Haynes Part No. 38010) for detailed instructions for your vehicle as this compressor is designed to fit multiple vehicles and specific instructions are not supplied for each application from the manufacturer. There are additional installation instructions provided here: http://eaccess.smpcorp.com/eCatalogs/Downloads/FS/Comp_swcg.pdf
