Comments about Driveworks Power Steering Pump Pulley:

First of all you will need the special tools to remove or replace the pulley. Even if you have the correct tools it may break while pressing it on the shaft. Its a very cheaply made plastic pulley manufactured in China. These pulleys have left me stranded twice. They will just break into pieces for no apparent reason! I also had one break on me while pressing one on
( WITH THE PRESS TOOL ). In my opinion these things are not very good quality.

Comments about Driveworks Power Steering Pump Pulley:

i purchased this pulley to replace another one that was cracked. i purchased this pulley from another auto part store, same brand, same part number, in feb 2010. So pay attention to the brand "dorman"...beware. i have put about 6,000 miles on it. Today it completely shattered into pieces while i was in griffin, ga...luckily i was just backing out of a parking spot in the parking lot when it happened. My belt dropped like a turd on the ground. the only thing left of the pulley is the ring that the belt goes around. My wife is almost 8 months pregnant and we were stuck in the 95*F heat. I had to pay 35 dollars for a belt to bypass my power steering pump in order to make it home. I wouldn't buy this type again even if it was just to sale my jeep. Think twice.

Comments about Driveworks Power Steering Pump Pulley:

Pulley looks steel but is actually plastic. It also has a Made in China stamp on it. Seems pricey for plastic.
