Purchased this filter for an '07 Avalon. It would not sit in the slot properly because it is so flimsy. It went in but was not sealed completely. It did stop pine needles from collectin in the heater but I doubt is stopped dust. This is not even close to the original cabin filter. You save moiney with this filter but get very poor performance. Next time I'll pay more for quality - suggest you do too.

Good product, quick install. It does what it's supposed to do...keep pollen and dust out of the cabin. Works as advertised.

Wrong part number for a 2012 Toyota Sienna LE. DW-35677 is way too large to fit into the slot the OEM cabin air filter came out of. Have to take it back, Advance Part number is way off.

Comments about Driveworks Panel Type Cabin Air Filter:

It took longer to empty the glove box than it did to install this! The fit was exactly like the one I replaced, which I believe was the original filter. I bought the vehicle used and the filter was just about clogged. Some people said that it didn't fit properly, or that it was flimsy, but it seemed fine to me. I guess I'll know exactly how good it is when I go to replace it. I have used this brand filter in my previous vehicle and never had any issues or complaints

Perhaps the people who had issues should check that they are purchasing the correct filter.

Hi Ram, I'm glad to help you! The product image is only a reference and the actual part may vary from that. This filter has an arrow on the filter showing the direction of air flow. Install it with the arrow pointing down, opposite of the arrow of the factory filter. The included instructions say this, but I think people may get confused and try to match the arrows. If you look at the filter you removed, the dirt and large particles will be on the top side, indicating the flow is from the top to bottom.

It is located on the air filter box in the front driver's side of the car, closest to the windshield, near the center of the engine compartment.

How do I know what side goes which way when installing this filter? There are no arrows indicating air flow direction as with other filters. Which side goes up and which down or doesn't it matter? This is for a 2008 Toyota Camry LE, 4 cylinder, 2.4 Liter gasoline engine.

Yes, this part fits your 2008 Toyota Camry LE and the side does not matter. It could be either of the sides.
